Exercise shown on different day

I exercised on Tuesday but it's showing Monday and Tuesday as 2nd day of exercise. I already restarted the fitbit charge 2 but it's not updating.  Any ideas?

Hello @pilamito thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to our Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you today.

Seems odd that the exercise details are being show on another day, this is certainly not a common situation, thanks for restarting your Charge 2 prior posting. To better assist you, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? I recommend you to make sure that the Fitbit app, mobile device operating system and Charge 2 are up to date. Also, For more information, please check: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi,

I’m using an iPhone 8 and always charge my charge 2 on the wall outlet. And they were both up to date. The only change I saw was the new face the app had that showed up when I opened it up on Wednesday. Wednesday being the day I noticed the mistake as Tuesday showing up as my second day instead of Monday. It shows Monday and Tuesday as two second dates.

Not a big issue because I simply manually added the workout I had done but it doubled my active minutes and it reorder itself from 5/5 workouts.

Thanks for your reply and update @pilamito, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.

Thank you for all the details that were shared in your post and for attaching a screenshot of your concern, such information helped me to better understand this situation. Can you please let me know if this situation occurred just once? Certainly this is not the way our Fitbit app was designed so we'd like to investigate further. I appreciate your effort and time at the moment you manually logged the activity, since you already added the activity on the correct date, I recommend you to delete the one that was incorrectly logged. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab User-added image, then tap the Exercise tile User-added image.
  2. Tap the exercise you want to edit or delete.
  3. Tap the 3 dots and choose to edit or delete the exercise. To edit the type of exercise (for example, to change a walk to a hike), tap Categorize Exercise and choose a different exercise type.

I'll be here if you need anything else. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
