Hi,

When I bought my fitbit charge 4 in March, in the first few days when I looked directly at it, I showed the panel of the hours and then stopped showing.

I don't think I changed any setting on the watch.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Thank you!

Sounds like your screen wake may have been turned off, and/or either Do Not Disturb (DND) or sleep modes have been activated.

First thing I'd recommend is to get into the quick settings mode on your Charge 4 - simply press and hold the button on the left side of the case.

What you need to check is that:

DND is 'dimmed' i.e. off

Sleep is also 'dimmed'

Swipe up to get to the 'Screen Wake' option

Make sure the bulb is 'lit' i.e. on

Quick tap the side button again to get you to the clock face. Do that again to turn the screen off.

If your problem was related to these three settings, then turning your wrist to look at the device's screen should see the display automatically coming on for you

Hope your fix is as simple as this 🙂
