Fails to record return cycle ride after a pause?

Each time I set it to bike it records the first part of ride but always fails to pick up the return even though I have checked mobile is synced with Fitbit after restarting??

To assist you better could you please let me know how do you register your exercise do you do it with connected GPS? You have mentioned that you make a stop. Is that stop long?

Hi Andrea, yes I set it to bike and press to start then wait to make sure it’s connected to my mobile which usually takes a few seconds and I activate the Fitbit app so it’s all synced with charge 2 and picture of mobile is good ie not crossed through. Then when I stop I press button to pause, for a refreshment break could be up to an hour. I then press to restart and do exactly the same as I would at the beginning ie wait for the mobile sync etc. Then when finished I press the button to finish and the flags come up but it hasn’t recorded?

How are the sorroundings where you practice your cycling activity? Environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites.
