Hi,
I got the notification via the fitbit app a few days ago about a firmware update for the Charge 3. I had one just a few months ago, and that one installed after the second attempt.
This one however, I have tried to install it many times, but it will fail each time. It starts the download (the bar in the app and on the device start to move to the right), but at around 40% the device will show the big X and is starts all over again. I cannot stop it, other then to exit out of the app, restart the phone, wait for the Charge 3 to timeout.
I have reset the Charge 3, restarted my phone, tried different Wi-Fi options etc., but the behavior is the same each time, it makes no difference what I do.
Any seen this before and have a clue how to fix this ?

I had the same issue, it kept looping through over and over again without installing. Coincedentally there was also an update available for the Fitbit app. So I installed the updated Fitbit app, restarted my phone, logged out of Fitbit and back in, and restarted my Charge 3. Then I initiated the firmware update and after a long time of looping it finally installed successfully.
But unlike other firmware updates that are seamless, this one was much more of a pain in the rear.

Hmmm, I already have the latest version of the app on my phone, so I can't do anything about that. I guess I can keep trying to see, but still, this is crazy.
