Firmware update taking too long

Firmware update is taking forever. Fitbit is cheating us with firmware and sync issues. Shouldn't we return the device with a full refund?

Let me help you with your inquiry. Try restarting your tracker and then try again doing the update. If you're still having trouble I recommend following the instructions listed on the Why can't I update my Fitbit device? article.

I agree. The update is freaking long and I can't use the watch at all while waiting.

I've followed all the steps and trouble shooting and it installs it about 85% and then just sits there.. three hours later and its at the same point in the installation of the new update.. very frustrating!

Trying to update Charge 3 + iPhone 6...

Tried multiple times and doesn't update properly. Each time it shows about 10-25% progress, then nothing. Restarted phone, restarted watch. Update sucks... And my internet is fine.

I have a FitBit Charge 3 and tried to charge it this morning- first plugged it in and walked around a bit with FITBIT on me. It was still charging after 45 minutes. I then read some of these posts and saw the issues. I stopped the charge, and swiped all windows and closed down my iphone 7plus. I restarted it, kept phone plugged in and took the FITBIT Charge 3 off and laid it on the phone (I did this as I thought maybe my FITBIT was not close enough to phone). The charge went through in less than 30 minutes!
