My face is dim - cannot read the fact of my Charge 4 - what do I do.

There's a brightness setting. You may have accidentally set it to dim.

With the display on swipe left twice and look for 'Settings'. Tap it and Brightness will be the first one displayed at the top. Tap it to cycle through the three options: Auto, Normal, and Dim
