Fitbit App Shows Active Minutes While Sleeping

I am using a charge for with an iPhone and VoiceOver as the screen reader because I am blind. I just checked the Fitbit app and saw that it 805 or 806I received credit for exercising and that starting at about 752 and ending at about 850 that I was sleeping I don’t understand why this is happened. The only thing that has changed recently is that guy up dated the app yesterday on my iPhone and this is the first time that this has occurred. Any ideas?

I should also mention that later in the morning when I was wide awake doing things I again got credit for time sleeping and it does not make any sense to me.

I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope that you can get the meaning because of some errors in the text.

Good morning,

Thank you for getting back to me and the suggestions that you made. Although I cannot make a direct correlation, I believe I had corrected the problem when I switched from the Fitbit woven band that came with my charge for back to the plastic band that came with the charge for. I found that with the woven band I received credit for less activity and questioned the accuracy.

Sent from my iPhone the numbers for steps, and other activity appear to be more realistic with the plastic band and compared favorably with the numbers I had received with the charge for I had on previously. Again, I cannot draw a direct correlation between the two bands, and can only draw a conclusion based on the fact that moving from the woven band back to the plastic band improved the accuracy of of the Fitbit charge four.

They have been at least four updates since this problem occurred and it is not re-occurred in any of the updates. While I have you here I have some questions. I hope you can answer for me. All are related to the Apple voiceover screen reading software. When will the edit button be made available again to blind users? When will the detailed sleep information on the home screen be made available and not just time and score? When will the pole to refresh capability be made available? And most importantly, when will the heart rate information on the iOS home screen be restored? I monitor my heart rate during exercise on my iPhone, because I am unable to read the information on the charge for. I track my activity using the iPhone and swiping between tiles to get the information such as distance, steps, and heart rate.

I understand if it does not have a Disability Support team to assist me in getting these issues resolved. I have started contacting google Disability Support, and found them to be helpful and it is my hope that at some point the Fitbit application will be made friendly for those who are blind And reading disable.

Yesterday I was searching for information on the logitech website. I found it to be an extremely friendly website and their commitment to people who are blind and reading, disabled, using screen readers and others with disabilities to be impressive. Their commitment to accessibility was plainly stated on their website With contact information that expressed their commitment to making their site compatible for all with disabilities.
