Fitbit Charge 2 bands fell off

I had a Fitbit Charge HR 2 Rose Gold and I lost it because the band disconnected from the screen after only 8 months. This is a common problem for me as I have relatively narrow wrists with almost 90 degree angles. Small sized bands are too small. I also have a similar problem with my Garmin (the fall back after loosing my Fitbit) as the catch pulls out due to the sharp angle of my wrist. Any suggestions for Fitbit that will fit my weird wrist better.

Hi there @JenAu, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm very sorry to hear that you had problems with the bands on your Charge 2 and that it got lost 😕

Currently, the warranty doesn't cover lost trackers. Now, about the wristbands fitting, I'd say that most Fitbit devices work or are designed in a similar way, so I'm not sure that this will make a difference. If you'd like to compare the models, you can do it here and also maybe someone who has had some experience with Fitbit trackers can provide some insight.

Anything else you may need, I'm always around!

PS. I'm moving your post to the Charge 2 board for categorization purposes.

I have to scotch tape my band to the fitbit charge 2 so it doesnt fall off!  This is unacceptable for such an expensive item! Do i need to get another band? Do yo have the tool/screwdriver to tighten the teeny tiny screw? How do you propose to stand by your product?

I too have had the band release, watch gone. It's pandemic in their equipment. I am now looking for the replacement and am surprised to see they still haven't fixed the issue and still do not replace lost equipment when it's their hardware failure causing the loss. So disappointed because I really like the software that runs the data. These watches aren't all that different from one maker to the next, but the reporting software is. The search continues.
