Fitbit Charge 2 battery drains in 10 mins

Hi

 

I have been using Fitbit Charge 2 since 24 months now and since 3 weeks I observe that my Charge 2 is not able to withstand even for 10 mins after fully charged and it started all of a sudden. Please can someone help me to resolve this issue or if someone faced a similar situation and able to resolve it. Spoke to Customer care and they said its hardware issue and nothing can be done to rectify it.

If some one has a solution for this sort of problem, please let me know.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 battery draining quickly and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.

My Charge 2 also started draining within 10 minutes the day after the last firmware update.

Thank you for your suggestion. I observe that out of 3 gold color charging
slots at back side of the device; the left one is half removed, which means
only half of the gold coating is remaining for the left charging pin.

Could that be reason for the fast battery draining and if so is there a
solution for this? I have already tried the above suggestion provided and
still there is no improvement.
