hi all ,
i purchased a fitbit a while ago and it run great for about 2 months, i loved it then it started to show signs so long story short every time i went to shower id take my charge 2 off and leave it on the window ledge while i showered and after a couple weeks of doing this the screen went really dull and dark (almost as if the brightness had been turned down) i contacted customer support and got no where and basically they are pants! so i threw it in the top draw and left it there and today i found it and wondered if i could save it, put it on charge and the green lights are on;on the back but the screen wasn't working so i re-set it and still nothing then i remembered the screen went dull so i covered the screen with my hand to block out the light and seen a very very very faint light on the screen (which im guessing should be the fitbit logo) so ive threw it in a bowl of rice to which im not very hopeful it will work and will be surprised if it does,but my question is other than buying a new one is there any way or any hope of saving my fitbit before i give up and throw it in the bin and buy an apple watch instead??

@xssarahx1 Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 screen. Please try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
