My original Fitbit got a cracked screen all of a sudden , it still worked but I was scared it would get worse. I contacted support who sent me out a replacement pebble. Got it and followed all instructions for setting it up and pairing it with my samsSam s8, I've tried it with my new dell laptop, my girlfriend's phone and my Samsung tablet. It is as though the Bluetooth function is broken on it. I feel like throwing it out of the window. I have followed every link possibly related to this on the website and I'm at my Witt's end. It doesn't even recognize it to give me a code, just says searching and that it's not working.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas?

Very similar problem - my old Charge 2 worked fine until the screen gradually went black from the bottom up. Still recording my activity though. Contacted Fitbit who kindly sent a replacement pebble as it was well within the 2 yr warranty.
Pleased with that but that is waning rapidly now as the new one just won't connect with anything despite following instructions, turning Bluetooth on and off, restarting devices and resetting the Charge 2, uninstalling and reinstalling apps etc etc.
Any further ideas?
