My Fitbit Charge 3 screen is black and the app will not connect with it. I have tried the restart steps. Now when I push the side button, the Charge 3 vibrates, but nothing else happens. I did get a smiley face once, but it is long gone. HELP!

Fitbit support walked me through three fix efforts.
One: Plug into power press button for 8 seconds (i got a jiggle, but no screen)
Two: Plug into power press button for 15 seconds (i got a jiggle, but no screen)
Three: Try to change clock face. This did not work either, still nothing on screen
I was offered a 25% discount on a new device, but the only devices that qualify are the same charge three that worked less that two years, or older models. Seems like they'd like to sell you extended warranties, otherwise your device isn't guaranteed to last much longer than the year guaranteed.
