Fitbit Charge 3 won’t switch on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit won’t switch on / sync/ anything. I have tried tutorials, including switching phone off and on again, unpairing and pairing, switching Bluetooth on and off again, holding button down for 8/15 seconds. It will not connect, Bluetooth cannot find it. It’s on charge and plugged in. Was working ok until today.

Hello @morreymint. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. If your Charge 3 doesn't turn on even when it is plugged in the charging cable, it could be not charging and I'd recommend following the suggested troubleshooting steps from this help article:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Please skip the restart since you already followed this process. On a side note, if it's not turning on, then this is the reason why your mobile device can't find it, so I'd recommend following the steps above first, and if it's able to turn on, then you can perform the steps suggested here, to set up your Charge 3 one more time.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I’ll try this but the battery was fully charged a couple of days ago. Plus I should mention the Fitbit is constantly vibrating for no apparent reason.

Hi, I’ve tried your steps and managed to get further than previously. On setting up a new device, it found it this time and wants me to enter the 4 digit number but screen still black…

@morreymint Thank you for your replies.

I also appreciate your help in following the suggested steps. Since the inconvenience has persisted, my best recommendation is that you please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.

Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but Phone wait times are longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat. You can click here to get connected.

See you around.
