Fitbit Charge 4 - Failing screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi.

My Charge 4 screen has failed.

It first started getting dimmer and dimmer every day until I could barely read it even indoors on low light.

Then parts of the screen became even dimmer (the pixels are practically off on the top half).

I know all about the settings that control the screen brightness, but I have it on full brightness and it's now unreadable. I have also tried to reboot, reset and changing the face. No difference.

This is the second Fitbit I own of which the screen failed.

My question is, is there a Fitbit device that lasts more than a year?

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @kos_tou.

Thank you for sharing this information about the issue you're experiencing with your Charge 4 and for confirming that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.

If you haven't done so already, please make sure the Sleep Mode option is disabled as well. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications don't cause the tracker to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • Turning your wrist won't cause the tracker's screen to turn on.

If the Sleep Mode is not on, and you already tried the restart procedure and adjusting the brightness settings on your Charge 4, I recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. See you around.
