I had the same problem and I found out the buckle it self is broken… is not the strap but the buckle!
I haven’t found if there is a posible repair for it, guess they have to change the piece but Nobody answers!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Hello @Shanti1st and @Eulala

If your still under warranty I’d certainly call Fitbit Customer service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US. But if your no longer under warranty I’m sure the situation would be extremely frustrating. If your Charge 4 still works but there’s no way to replace the band because the connector buckle is broken I did find a way you can at least use the Charge 4. (See link below) It’s not a perfect solution but it’s certainly less costly then having to purchase another fitness tracker. Especially when money is so tight now for so many. Also if it’s just the buckle you can purchase replacement bands on Amazon as well. They are reasonably priced. https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Replacement-Wristbands-Without-Tracker/dp/B085XRVDYS?th=1

I understand the link is just a band-aid so to say but I hope my response offers you the best answer for the current situation. Please let me know if this helps.

Twice now, the plastic part on the watch itself has broken off and the strap is then impossible to re-attach. Since it was replaced once already for this same issue, I was just told I had no options even though the exact same thing happened again after about 3 months. Looking at this forum, this is an onging issue that has not been rectified. I will now move into another product. This is too expensive a problem!

Update: I decided to (politely) not take no for an answer and had it escalated to the warranty team (by calling the 866 number). I am getting a new fitbit (main section only- not strap). Yay!
