Fitbit Charge H is not syncing

My fitbit charge is not syncing, I get a message that it is looking for the fitbit, my fitbit is fully charged and sitting right next to my phone, I have shut phone down numerous times and nothing. I tried plugging in the fitbit to charger and hold down the button like stated here in this community forum, all's that does is start the timer. Can anyone else help? Do I need to delete my fitbit and start over? Thanks for help.

@mommamac It's great to see you in the Fitbit forums! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with your Charge HR not syncing. Thanks for restarting it and for shutting down your phone attempting to sort this out. 

 

In this case, I'd recommend following the syncing troubleshooting steps shown on this helpful article. If you already did some of those steps, do not worry, try them once again in the order given there for best result.
