Fitbit HR doesn't recognize elliptical trainer time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I hit the gym 5-6 days a week. On my cardio days, I use the treadmill, stairclimber and the elliptical trainer. My Fitbit HR (great Christmas present!) has stopped tracking the time and activity on the elliptical trainer. It was tracking it just fine and stopped tracking/logging it five days ago. Now it logs the elliptical time as steps. Any help, suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

A warm welcome to the Community @rjac. If the SmartTrack is not registering your information anymore, I recommend Restarting your Charge HR and if the restart process doesn't work, feel free to contact our Support Team.

Thanks for the welcome and recommendation. I did the restart and will be on the treadmill in the morning. I will let you know how it went. By the way, iss there a difference between a restart and a reset?

I do the elliptical pretty much everyday—yesterday & today my Charge HR also failed to recognize my elliptical workout & only counted steps. Very frustrating!  I reset it after yesterday’s workout but that didn’t help. >:-[
