I took my fitbit off for a couple days, and since putting it back on, it is acting goofy in various ways.
The only thing that it is tracking (unsure if it is accurate, but it shows a number) is calories. My heart rate, steps, stairs climbed, zone mins, and distance walked are all blank.
I also noticed that the fitbit display no longer turns on when looking at the display as i raise my wrist. I now have to hit a side button. Weird.
I have tried restarting the device from the about menu in settings and did a hard reset with no results.
I'm not finding any solutions...any help?
I'm out of my depth as far as suggesting anything as to why your Charge 4 is tracking/updating nothing but calorie expenditure.....(but calorie expenditure is basically automated as far as I can tell, Fitbit works out your BMR from your height/weight/age then applies a multiplier based upon the activity level that the tracker tracks you at, divides that by something.... maybe by 1,440 (#of minutes in the day) or 86,400 (# of seconds in the day) or maybe by some other method) and simply 'adds' some calories per unit of time... check out the # of calories you've burned when you wake up tomorrow - it'll already be in the hundreds 😄 😄
as for the 'screen wake' thing (so this is where the screen wakes when you touch it, or raise your wrist towards you) see my reply to this post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-4/Charge-4/m-p/5208850#M66419
Best AnswerI'm having the same problem, except my charge 4 is brand new (replacing a broken charge 4) and the new one has NEVER tracked data yet...I've tried everything. Previous charge 4 worked totally fine until the plastic snapped on the watch head.
Best AnswerI too am facing the same issue. There some bug that needs to be fixed coz earlier today the screen wasn't responding i.e. the band a complete black screen even though the side button and the sensor below was working
