I don't get it. I finished my run/walk at my usual pace for 2.25 miles. I came inside and noticed the fit bit was not on my left wrist when I took off my sweatshirt. I located the fitbit upstairs but close to where I was running outside within wifi distance. The whole run recorded properly including pace. How is this even possible when for 35 minutes the device was no where near me (but my iPhone was in my hand)?
Someone please explain.

I did not. But the Fitbit app was open on my phone. I assume it registered the data even without the device.
I was amazed.
