Fitbit no longer works

Screen went black tried, recharging, changing clock face, it won't even pair to my phone now after I uninstalled and tried to reinstall.  Tried reset by putting in charge and holding down the button I got smiley face then blank screen. I have resorted to going back to my charge 2 which is still working after being in a drawer for 12 months.  Think this is my finish with fitbit I my try garmin same as my hubby

I tried to change the brightness then update the face and now glitches.

I have the exact same issue; I get the smiley face when holding down the button but screen stays black afterwards. I cannot reconnect to my phone after I disconnected. This is extremely disappointing and not making me want to purchase another fitbit product.

Exact same thing on mine, ready to throw it in garbage, guess I'm done with Fitbit forever, it turned to junk!
