Fitbit screen hard to read

My Fitbit charge 3 screen has become harder & harder to read - it's like it is fading. I've have been through settings & apps and it doesn't seem to change anything. It's only 9 months old??

I have had the same problem for the past 6 months some faces show up better than others but none of them work in direct sun. I have tried to reset the device change the settings and different faces. Seems like I got roped off by fit bit. My charge 2 was much better. Might have to get the Apple Watch.
