My Fitbit charge 2 has the screen locked, it tracks everything but does not respond at all, even the restart doesn’t work. Help?

Same for me, all of a sudden one morning the screen is locked on the clock. I tried every listed reset and they all failed. Come on Fitbit, help us out!

Same. I called customer support and they just walked me through all the things I had already tried. But since my watch is 3 years old, I was only offered 20 or 25% off a new watch, all of them over $100! No thank you, I can't afford that just because the watch that I LOVED stopped working all of the sudden. They can't repair it, they won't accept me mailing it to them to prove I didn't do anything to it or that I'm not lying. It was a super frustrating call.

FItbit seems to take the attitude, "2 or 3 years old and it died, just buy a new one!" I will take that advice, buy an Apple watch or a Garmin. If Fitbit won't stand behind their products I am done with them. Their customer service still hasn't even responded to me.

Mine now continually shows 07:26 Mon 14 (October) It syncs and records steps etc. correctly.
Exactly the same fault You can not even perform a factory reset
Having contacted their 'so called' Customer Service I strongly suspect this is planned fault by Fitbit to increase cashflow from the number of people reporting this fault and frustration on social media.
With the purchase by Google it and my data is going in the bin.
