I need FREE a companion app in the google play store that displays heart rate during a workout using the fitbit information without using another tracker.  The only one I found was the iCardio app but I have to pay $19.99/yr to enable the heart rate training and tracking.  Are there any other that are free?

Hello @mailmmm Fitbit doesn't give live data to 3rd parties. This mean the 19.99 will not be able to give real time Fitbit data. 

However your Fitbit app has a live mode that will act like a remote display. 

 

Start walking, then look at your step count and Heart Rate, you will see that it now displays what is on the watch.

Thank you for the information. Fitbit should make a simple app that
displays the information with a large display. During my HIIT workout, I
like to visually see my heartrate (keeping in a certain zone) without
having to stop to look at the watch or peep to see the small display on the
current fitbtit display. Hopefully, they will.
