Funky display issues

My Fitbit charge 3 had a full battery charge. Following this there was a faded display and it stopped showing me a display when I rotated my wrist. Few days later there was a horizontal line across the top along with a dim display. I can almost not read display. I reset the charge 3, got the smiley, the white line across the top went away, but the display is still too dim. Unable to read in sunlight while exercising outdoors. 

 

 

How do I fix this?

Also wanted to add: not getting notifications of meeting step goals for about two weeks. No fireworks, no vibrations. I did not turn this function off.
