GPS Issues with Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am at my wit's end ---  the GPS feature is not working properly on my Fitbit Charge 2.   I walk/run the same 2.5 mile route daily.   Fitbit has recently recorded this as 0.14, 0.46, 0.22, 0.1 miles.

The things I've tried so far are turning bluetooth off and on, restarting the phone, deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Anyone have any other suggestions I might try?    Thank you!

@63blackcats Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your GPS data not being accurate and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
