GPS accuracy issues-Charge 3

My GPS accuracy has gotten significantly worse in the last  month or so, since an app update. Runs that used to register as 5K, plus or minus .02ish miles, now are often half a mile to a mile different. Tried rebooting the device, rebooting the phone, since that's what's pulling the GPS signal. Seems like a problem with the app interpolating the GPS data. Maps after runs look less smooth (more long straight segments, rather than smooth around corners). Anyone with similar issues?

thanks for the response. I didn’t really receive any resolution, the support chat only stated that “it’s a known issue and the team is trying to find a solution”. So I hope something happens quickly because without accurate GPS data, and therefor pace data, my Fitbit is of little use to me and I will probably seek alternatives. Keep me posted!

I have been having the same issue. I use a gps running app on my phone along with my fitbit and they never match. The fit bit always logs less miles. Very frustrating. Also when I walk with other Fitbit users they always get way more steps than I do. Today I did a hike with a friend started out the same walked together, but at the end of the hike she had about 1000 more steps.
