GPS dropped now notifications stopped!

A lot of us have had GPS problems for weeks and customer service is aware of the problem but are doing nothing about it.  I now use an app on my phone and don't bother trying anymore.  Now, a new problem!  Notifications stopped yesterday after an upgrade on the app!  I've rebooted my charge 4, made sure all my notification status are as they were (they are!), checked the app permissions are allowed (they are too!) and still nothing!  I've had this charge 4 since December 21 and it was great for 6 months, but now it's just problem after problem.  Really don't want to change to anyone other brand as the last 5yrs of progress is stored here, but it really isn't good enough.  Fitbit, PLEASE, sort this out as you've got a lot of unhappy customers.

My GPS has begun to shut off about 1km into a hike and won't reestablish my walk until I hit the home button. If I don't check it every minute I am not even aware it has stopped tracking. My device was a Christmas present so its only 6 months old also. I used to be able to keep a more accurate record of my distances but now have zero faith it its accuracy. I also frequently have trouble accessing some of the screens, it just locks me to the home screen and I have to ignore it for a few hours before it works properly again. Can't use the timer when I need it or any other feature. Rebooting the device does not clear it. I am very unhappy since I was really enjoying the features it had in the beginning. Not a well made product!

Make sure that Do Not Disturb and Sleep Mode are both off otherwise you won't get notifications.
