Hi everyone,
Since the last software update for the charge 2 the GPS sync does not work properly anymore. I am using a samsung galaxy s8+.
Please let me know if there is a fix.
Thx!

Hello @Stefanbit welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.
I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. To better assist you, can you please expand on this? In which way the GPS connection of your Charge 2 isn't working anymore? The connected GPS feature of your Charge 2 is being recorded properly but not being accurately synced? More details will be appreciated. In the meantime, please restart you device to refresh its performance.
Keep me posted.

Hi Ricardo,
The issue is that it keeps losing the connection to the phone. When i go for a run the charge 2 shows the icon which indicates that it tries to connect to the phone, most of the time. Afterwards it will only show a few data points on the map.
I did a reset as you suggested and will try it again tomorrow.

Thanks for your reply and update @Stefanbit, my apologies for the delayed reply.
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. Let me share with you that the connected GPS feature on your device works with the GPS sensors in your nearby phone.
When you choose a GPS exercise, your device vibrates when your phone finds a GPS signal. Environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. For best results, wait for your phone to find the signal before you start your workout.
Note that your device uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a GPS signal. The total distance calculated for a workout may be slightly less accurate when GPS data isn't available for the entire time. For more information, see How accurate is GPS? and also: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? to check some requirements and troubleshooting steps.
See you around.
