GPS tracking = no HR data

Fitbit Community,

Why does the app still not provide a HR graph when GPS tracking a [manually started] run? This is a fundamental purpose of wearing one, to see exercise HR zones. To be clear, you can either have an auto started run and get HR zones for that specific exercise session, (but no GPS) , or a manually started GPS tracked one but no HR zones. Why can't these just be combined 😭

I and numerous others have asked Fitbit repeatedly about this, dating back a year ago.

If there are still no plans to add exercise HR zones to GPS tracked runs, there are plenty of other manufacturers who I can turn to instead. Fitbit are no longer unique in this field. Very frustrating.

Hi @IncensedPanther are you asking about tracking your run with your Aop on the  unknown phone?

If your tracking with your Fitbit app and not your tracker, heart rate will not be read for the run.

Please use the run tracking mode on tracker.

@Rich_Laue , thanks for replying. To be clear, are you saying that I should start the run from my Charge 2? Will this give me GPS tracking of my run?

I want to have a GPS tracked route, and associated HR data.

The only way to have both gps and HR is to use the tracker to record.
