hello
I have had my charge 2 for over 2 years. However due to a faulty battery I have now got a replacement. I feel since having the replacement my calorie burn seems to under then it was on my previous charge 2. I’m also slightly confused on how I should have the wrist and handedness setting. Handedness setting is currently set to Right and wrist setting is currently set to left (I wear my Fitbit on my right) does how I’ve got it set over or under calculate calories and steps? If anyone help or advise I would be greatly thankful. Also is there anyway that I can see my settings for my old Fitbit to compare with the settings for my new one. Sorry if I’ve rambled on

Handedness is whether you are left or right-handed. Wrist setting (forget exact wording) is where you wear tracker. (The wording is awkward and I think is cleaned up on later models). If you wear the tracker on you primary wrist (i.e. left-handed, wear on left wrist), it reduces steps somewhat (no idea how much) to try to eliminate false steps from brushing teeth, etc. But I wouldn't think that would affect calories because they are based on heart rate, though I can't be sure about calorie computations.
