Has Fitbit forgotten the charge 2?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It's been a while since our last software update and there are so many no brainer features that could be added. I see so many great feature requests and we're always told to make those requests and vote on it, but I haven't actually seen any new updates in so long.

Can Fitbit give a definitive answer on whether or not the Charge 2 is actively supported anymore to properly manage expectations rather than false hope? If the answer is that the Charge 2 will no longer get updates, that's fine, I'll upgrade, but stop it with this false hope that these feature requests that we vote on for the Charge 2 will come.

That might require your definition of being "supported".

When I think of being "supported", I generally think of fixing obvious critical bugs.

But you seem to think of "supported" to mean getting new features added.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Good call out, I've editted the question to use the word "actively developed" rather than support, because I do wish that the charge 2 can have some feature enhancements and it's a shame that our world has moved towards not getting much updates after 1 year and toyally giving up on devices after 3 years (charge 2 launched Sept 2016)
