Heart Monitor Fail During High Cardio Workouts

I purchased two charge 3's about a year ago for myself and my wife and we have had continuous issues with the heart monitor. While resting or doing low cardio  below 100 the monitor works great! I've been pleased on how it tracks my sleep and shows you where your cardiovascular health lays. However, during moderate to strong cardio workouts the Fitbit fails to determine the correct bpm or just just doesn't pick anything up. I've read numerous posts that have solutions and claim to be solved in the Fitbit community posts and have tried 1 finger width from wrist bone and 2 finger widths, tighter, looser and comfortably snug. Nothing works! Sometimes I can get my Fitbit to record my heart rate for a couple of minutes but it's becoming more and more difficult for it to pick anything up at all. I'm soon going to attempt to try the fit bit on my ankle 😬. Other posts claim that you shouldn't move your arms too much of sweat too much. Well if you are doing moderate to hard cardio you are going to be moving and sweating. I usually use a rowing machine so my wrist are relativly still.  This is something the Fitbit team really really really needs to narrow down on as the term Fitbit sounds like it should be able to be used during all level of activities for people who are active, while promoting healthy active lifestyles. Even in the graphs they have marathon runners as being the fittest in terms of cardiovascular health which I'd completely agree with but I'm sure they were sweating and moving their arms during their training. Maybe their cardiovascular health was determined without a Fitbit at all? In conclusion yes I do like my Fitbit but if it can't accurately or somewhat track my work outs then what is the point in having.
