I have been using a fitbit charge 2 for a year now.
I went to download my heart rate data so I could track progress over my year of diet and exercise changes
I had a really sad chat with a customer service representative.
The data is not stored and there is no way to retrieve it.
I feel badly misled.

You can see your resting heart rates, just not all the individual data points - do you really want a reading every second for a year?

Hey @Almoravid, welcome to the Community! So, what is the exact heart data that you want to see on your Fitbit app? 'Cause as @JohnnyRow mentioned, it is not possible to see a reading every second for a year.
Keep us posted!

I too have this need, and the heart rate data is in the download, and it is available for several times per minute. However, from what I see, there’s a “certainty” flag on the data, I assume like an accuracy guess. But it is there.
My need, which I’ll be asking in another post, is if they’ll provide the algorithm for the avg daily resting heart rate. That number isn’t necessarily the average of all the lowest hr data points for the day (even filtering out the low-certainty data points), nor do they provide that in the summary data.
