Hello. So starting yesterday I began having this problem with my Fitbit Charge 2 where it was not tracking my HR. Instead, I consistently get the “- -“ shown on both the device and the app. So far I’ve tried to fix it by doing the following:
- making sure the HR tracking is set to “on” instead of “auto”
- restarting the device multiple times
- clearing the device in my app and setting it up as new
- adjusted how I’ve worn it on my wrist
I’m at a loss for what else to do.

Today, my Fitbit Charge 2 also has the same exact symptoms you mentioned and I tried the exact same remedies without any change. I also noticed that the back green light is on continuously and the battery charge keeps dropping quickly. Is this device just shot? I have had it for only about a year and a half but really enjoy using it.
