Resting heart rate on the app is (almost) always 1 less then resting heart rate on fitbit.com. How come?
Not a rounding difference; then I'd expect the difference alternating between -1,0,1.
Almost always; I can't say for sure I've ever seen them matching.

Hello there, @jodijk! Welcome, welcome! Hmmm...this shouldn't be happening. Have you update to the latest version of the App?
You can also try to log out and back in and make sure that you sync your tracker before you check this, it might take a few minutes to update the information.
Let me know if it matches after this. :}
I have exactly the same issue since I startet using Fitbit in June 2015 - always 1 bpm difference between Iphone app and web interface (Iphone is lower than web)
Best AnswerWhich version would be the latest? And how to tell which version I'm on?
For the record, it has been de- and re-installed on the tablet. The 1 difference stays. The tablet no longer recognizes the tracker (Tracker not found - Dismiss). Because of that, no way I'm going to update the phone.
Both Android.
Best AnswerI have this same issue. Tried logging off then back in on the ios app, but it's the same 1 PBM off error (app lower than the web dashboard). I also looked on my history for the week and compared my app to the dashboard and only on a few days did I get a 1PBM error. Interesting that its not every day.....Which is the accurate reading? The dashboard or the app?

Hey, @Sascha_S, @jodijk, @Fit-Life! It is nice to see you.
You can check this on your App Store or Play Store depending what device you have. Check list below:
@jodijk, have you tried to restart your tracker and try to sync after?
Thank you all so much for reporting this to us.
Best AnswerAfter yesterday's re-install, I was at 2.46. after your mail, a subsequent re-install did not change that. Power on reset of the tablet afterwards took care of the sync, so that is ok now.
I am not going tot re-install a third time, I will live with the 1 beat different.

Wow. Earlier this week, the website and the app matched wrt the resting heartbeat! They reported both the same numer. Really.
Luckily, that was only for 1 day, I'm back to the normal unreliable data.
Fix this please!
Best AnswerI only noticed this issue because previous day RHR data was changing in the app so I decided to check the web dashboard. I have about given up on these companies fixing their long term issues. Seems this is one of them. And judging from the app changing the data and the issues I have had with their trackers anyway over the years, I may be switching soon to a different company all together.
