Hi everyone
Recently I've noticed that my heart rate reading start to 'sink' during activities. I tested it out tonight rowing, keeping a constant pace.
Despite keeping effort constant my heart readings drop right down, then recover.
I've had my charge 2 nearly a year and this is a new issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes. Noticed today while on treadmill. It read 64 when I know it was much higher. I did the update last night . Was wondering if that's the cause for incorrect reading.

Mine does the same when in the middle of a walk. Drops to 60-70 bpm. I am thinking it does this whenever I flip my wrist to see my heart rate during exercise. I think the motion of checking your heart rate makes it drop out for a few minutes.....very frustrating.

I have the same problem when on the treadmill. Lately I've had difficulty keeping my HR value over 125. My HR values sink and in fact when down to 69 when I manually checked and know it was well over 120! It also struggles to read a HR so I often see --. Very frustrating when I want to see my stats even though I know I'm getting a good workout.
Another (related?) problem is that my Charge 2 continues providing a HR value even when I take it off. I took it off for about 15 minutes and gained 12 active minutes with a peak HR of 136! I tried some of the suggestions here (turning off HR and then back on, syncing) and resetting the Charge 2. I will know soon enough if this solves it.

My heart rate also sinks, but faster than your graph and it comes back up fast too. My average heart rate is higher than it was a couple years ago also, like up to 170, even though I am slower but i feel fine. Is the heat rate ever inaccurate on the high side?
