Help with screen brightness

Hi! 

I have the Charge 3, I have had this one for 2 years and prior to that the charge HR and all sorts and every member of my family uses one too. 
For the last 3 months I can barely see the charge 3 screen at all inside let alone outside. I have had various chats with customer service and now they are offering a replacement but I am considering buying the charge 4. 

The charge 3 only had this issue after an update so my worry is now that should I get a replacement or buy a 4 will I be facing the exact same issues?

I am feeling cross really that this has happened after an update right befor the 4 came out - coincidence??!! But I do love my fitbit. So just wondering, I know from researching mine that it now seems to be a common issue with the charge 3. So do i risk the charge 4 try something else or drop fitbit altogether?

Check you are not in Sleep Mode, keeping brightness low.

Sleep mode can be seen and set in 'Settings'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks I have already tried doing that, definitely not in sleep mode.

I have the same issue and will now not buy another fitbit product unless this is sorted, this happened after the last update and I have been waiting to see if fitbit would put out a fix, 3rd fitbit I have bought but looks like no more as they dont seem to care 😞
