I use t love my Fitbit Charge 3 but it died. I've since purchased the Charge 4. It worked great for a while. No, it is constantly losing GPS signal during my workouts and not accurately counting my distance & steps! I was seriously thinking about preordering the new Sense 2 but I'm afraid of these same issues. Anyone have any advice?

Care to elaborate on "not accurately counting my distance & steps"? Daily total? During workout? With Exercise app or auto-recognized? Just with GPS? With phone GPS or built-in?

I don't use the built in gps as it drains the watch power to fast so use the mobile phone gps.
What I will say is that with both the watch gps or the phone gps the accuracy was tenuous at times. Heaven forbid someone using a keyfob to unlock their car in close proximity as it uses 70cms wavelength rf signals and some harmonics of that can put tracker plot points miles from where you have been.
So tracking with either source of gps info is not totally reliable.

Mine just started doing this. Well, I just noticed it. I recently downloaded an app on my phone to track my kayaking and started using it for my daily walk too. It will map my whole walk but the Fitbit doesn't anymore. I will say this though, if I'm ever using maps on my phone for directions somewhere, I will lose satellite reception several times before I ever make it to my destination. That never use to happen either 🤷

Sorry. Guess I should have stated this. I'm referring to the exercise app. It has started only mapping part of my walks. Very frequently. I do have GPS on. Both my watch and my phone but my watch is continuously losing GPS signal. For the most part, it does count my steps.
