The broken plastic on the Fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The plastic part which connects the strap to my Fitbit has fallen off and I can't fit new strap to the watch. How do I get a new part to it.  My son's Fitbit 4 has the same problem.  This seems to be a common problem with the Fitbit 4.  How do I get a replacement for this, mine and my son's are just over a year old and this is a design fault so there should not be a time line on faulty design of Fitbit.

I do hope someone can help me with this problem. I live in London.  I do hope I don't get an answer that there is no way to replace this for free.  If I have to pay for a replacement then I will not buy Fitbit again.

Thank you

Valli

I have a similar problem with my Fitbit 4, the strap has come away and I am unable to refit another as the connection piece is hanging off. Tried contacting Fitbit but am unable too. Hope you get it sorted. Brian

Hi Brian

I went to Fitbit Chat helpline and got the matter resolved by this very nice person Ramon.  Please go to the chat line and tell them what you just said and I am sure someone on the Chat line will help resolve this for you.  I got a replacement offer or a discount voucher.

Good luck with this.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a common problem with the charge 4. Mine broke in that same piece 3 different times. Fitbit will replace  it until it’s out of warranty, you just have to reach out to them, which you can do through your app- it’ll connect you via text or have someone call you once you report the problem.
Note- you can’t get just the connection piece, it has to be the entire pebble. Once it’s past the warranty, they offer a discount on a new one. BUT you can get a replacement band that houses the entire pebble- it doesn’t need the connections. There are options on on Amazon for $15 or less, depending on what band you like. My daughter likes this one:GOSETH Compatible with Fitbit Charge 4/Fitbit Charge 3 Bands with Case, Silicone Strap with Shatter-Resistant Protective Frame for Fitbit Charge 3/SE/Charge 4 and Special Editions (Black&Blue). I personally like this one: Sport Band Compatible with Fitbit Charge 5 Band with Case for Soft Silicone Strap with Shatter-Resistant Protective for Fitbit Charge 5/ Charge 4/Charge 3 Advanced Fitness Tracker. No sense in getting a new one if the pebble itself still works and you’re past the warranty period.

Hope this helps. TLT
