Whilst sat on the sofa this evening my Fitbit has decided that I did 7315 flights of stairs - on 30th Nov 2018. I was only alerted by the emails congratulating me on my new badges (it's the Rainbow badge for 700 fights of stairs in a day and I have now apparently earned this twice, plus all the others before it). I've once achieved 100 flights in a day, certainly not 700 nor 7000 so I don't know why my Charge 2 has suddenly gone haywire. The bluetooth was switched off at the time, so it shouldn't have synced in any way, I've done a reset and I definitely haven't been near any fans. I can't understand why this historic data has suddenly changed and I'm not very happy that it's spoiled my real results.
Ayone suffered the same problem or have a fix?

I just made a post about the same issue. Mine synced 9448 flights of stairs on November 29th. I contacted Fitbit support about it and while they are not able to remove the data, they will be looking into the glitch. If you haven’t already, you should let them know that this has happened to you as well. I’m really bummed as well that I don’t have the opportunity to earn the badges for the first time 😞 It’s so weird that this happened to both of us today!

Thanks - I'll contact support about it then. Glad I'm not the only person this happened too - it's so weird!
