About a week ago, I noticed 2 or 3 lines across the top of my tracker. I monitored it and more appeared. I rebooted my tracker (settings-about-reboot), as well as reset the tracker (plugged into the charger and hold the side button until the smiley face shows up). Neither of these resets worked.
June 6 I was trying to start a chat with a representative to resolve the issue (I started speaking with Julias, then Ivan), but both times the chat expired before we were completed and I was unable to get the chat back up again.
Is there any solution to this? Both the tracker and the inability to contact customer support?

Same problem here. I completed a chat. And they said they'd email me. They never emailed me.

I just did an online chat with Dan. They did the same thing regular restart, long restart, and then he checked the warranty and since it's been over a year since I bought it, they'll send me a discount code for 25% off a new Fitbit.
The display on my prior Charge 3 stopped working completely a few months after I bought it and they replaced it. But now this issue with the display, which seems to be affecting a lot of people from the comments on the forum, I'm not sure if I'll buy another Fitbit. The quality doesn't seem to be there for the amount of money you pay.
