I think the more people who contact CM directly expressing their dissatisfaction regarding their app NOT syncing with fitbit would get better and faster results. I have NOT heard anything more from Carb Manager (CM) regarding this issue and have changed my automatic annual renewal to NOT renew my membership with CM after the end of my year is up.

I will contact them directly. That's a good idea they need to keep up with
all the other apps out there, and this one works better with keto than
others I've found so I would like to continue to use it. But I might not if
Fitbit doesn't sync up.

Thanks!

When I contacted Carb Manager at the end of August 2018 regarding this very issue they said oh it was on their priority list and they were working on and hope to solve it ASAP. Yeah, right.

Just to let you know this feature now exists and works at least with my Charge 3.  If you already have your fitbit connected you have to go to Settings > Connect with Fitbit and turn this off and then on again to authorize food syncing with Fitbit

I just switched to Carb Manager and bought the premium for 1 month to try it. I love it but still cannot get it to sync at all with anything. I've followed all the directions. Help?

Make sure your fitbit settings are set to "All-Day Sync" go to carb manager app and in Settings turn OFF sync with fitbit the turn it back on, fitbit app should automatically open and ask for your confirmation to sync with carb manager. If this does not work then you need to go to carb manager online https://app.carbmanager.com/account/join?redirect=%2Flog%2Foverview (I actually think this is how it has to be done, but I can't remember for sure now). Anyway, in your online carb manager account (not carb manager app) you will do exactly the same thing as you did in the CM app- settings, turn OFF fitbit syncing (if it is currently on) then turn ON fitbit syncing. If fitbit syncing is not already ON then simply turn it on. You should be good to go. If you still have problems email carb manager at admin@wombatapps.com

Hi everyone. Hope you’re all surviving this trying time in or history.
Don’t know if anyone has checked recently but being new to the fitness tracking situation, I was unaware that other than exercise sharing (steps etc.) there was 2-way sharing of info berwenang Carb Manager And Fitbit apps.
I have been getting really high calorie numbers on my Fitbit daily chart and not on the Carb Manager app.
I have only realised today that Carb Manager is indeed communicating with Fitbit and my entries into Fitbit food logging have been getting doubled up by Carb Manager.
Now all I do is log my food intake into Carb Manager and although it takes some time, (can be 5 mins or so) it does find its way to the Fitbit Food Log.
Carb Manager is such a great keto tool. I love it and I love the Fitbit App also for all the additional exercises which have been recently added in the latest update.
It looks like we are now on the track to happy, healthy achievement of our goals.
Cheers, AL

it's been so long. i think i did though. i made sure fitbit synced with
carb manager and carb manager synced with fitbit. i'm not sure they always
agreed for some reason. i do know that my fitbit calories burned always
showed up on carb manager. so that helped:)

Yes, go into settings on Carb Manager and turn off "connect with fitbit" then turn it back on. It'll the ask for your permission.  It's been awhile since I've done this, but I think this was the issue most were having with it not syncing with fitbit.  Hope this helps and you successfully get them to sync.

If I am remembering correctly and if CM hasn't updated how it sync's with fitbit, CM sync's your nutritional number totals with fitbit, but not your "menu", like your logged food. It's been a while since I've logged my food on CM because I've reached my goal weight and am in the maintaining my weight phase, lol. So, I'm sorry if the info I'm providing here now, is not current. Hope this helps maybe a little. 🙂

Yes, lol, I remember that happening to me as well (FitBit doubling up the calories). Although I do not use CM much anymore (I'm in the maintaining weight phase now for last 6-9 months), I like CM the best and ever since CM finally was able to sync with FitBit app, that made these two combined apps the BOMB! 😁

I found this link, https://wombatapps.helpshift.com/a/carb-manager/?s=faqs---read-me-first&f=why-is-food-i-m-logging-in...  that I posted awhile back. This should walk you through how to sync CM and FitBit.
