Hi,
I have a Charge 3 and use the fitbit app on my Iphone. I usually log manually, because I think it works better (gps).
When I log I can only choose walking, running and hiking. I want to add cycling, but I can't see how. On my Charge 3 it exists, but as said I want to log manually via the app.

@jostheboss I always include the MobileRun description as a point of clarification -- "logging in the app" has more than one meaning. @WilsonFitbit also described logging in the app. You are using MobileRun when you try to track your bike rides with the phone app. You wondered why it doesn't include bike. It doesn't include bike because Fitbit's "update" to include bike and other exercises is the Exercise App on the device itself. You can't add bike to the walk, run, hike list.
Your only option to get a GPS map with a bike exercise is to use the GPS connected Exercise App on your Charge 3.

Hello @jostheboss. Welcome to the community forums!
Thank you very much for the detailed information. I'd like to let you know that you can currently manually log your cycling activity as "Bike". For this, please make sure to follow the instructions below:
1. Tap the Today tab.
2. On the Exercise tile, tap the + icon > Log.
3. Tap a recent activity, or search for an exercise type.
4. Enter the activity details, and tap Add.
Also, please take into consideration that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities like Outdoor Bike through the SmartTrack feature. To start, your device recognizes activities at least 15 minutes long. For more information, please check: How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.

Hi Wilson,
Thanks for your fast reply. I wish you were right: I do not have the option to search nor the option Add. I tried tu opload a screenshot, but I have no rights (understand why).

@jostheboss The feature you are trying to use is called MobileRun. It is an older feature and, for a while, was the only way to get a GPS map. It only has walk, run and hike -- the upgrade to this feature is trackers with an Exercise App.
MobileRun uses the GPS sensors in your phone. The Charge 3 has connected GPS that uses those same sensors in your phone. Are you having trouble with your connected GPS? To me, the solution is to understand why your Exercise App isn't giving you the information you seek. Troubleshoot and correct.

Hi Laury,
What has mobilerun to do with cycling (riding a bike)?
My Charge 3 has exercise options and the Charge 3 is not the problem, it recognizes cycling and that works. Because if often has connection problems with my Iphone and because I think the phone (app) has better gps tracking I want to use the app instead of the Charge 3. I often used them both with walking and compared the differences and the app was better. This seems locigal to me since the app is better connected with the gps.
