How do I reset the clock, as I haven't used my Fitbit for a while?

Welcome to the forums!
A restart will normally fix the problem
Do it at least 3 times.
Restart
http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/?q=restart&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1
If that doesn't help
On the computer: Go to the Dashboard and click on the gear and choose settings from the drop down. Scroll down to time zone Change it to a different one. Sync it. Go back in and change it to the correct one and sync again
Phone: Click on account upper top right looks like an envelope. Scroll down to advanced settings and do the same as above

Hi there, and thank you for everyone's input, on this most frustrating problem, thus far.
I have tried everyone's suggestions, to the letter, many many times with no success.
I have a Surge running Version 16.34.6.1 with the Fitbit app freshly installed on my Samsung Note 4, which runs Andoid 6.0.1, that has developed this problem in the last few days, after flying from Melbourne, Australia to Bangkok, Thailand.
Until now any changes in time worked flawlessly, by syncing with my phone, but now no matter how many times we reinstall the FitBit app, on my phone, and go through the suggested steps, i.e. location changes, automatic update off/on/off .including multiple restarts between every change we have no joy. Do you think that wiping the account and setting up from scratch, as long winded and as an absolute last resort, do the job?
