My Charge 3 stopped working so I took it back to the store where I bought it. Since it was still within the warranty period they gave me a new Charge 3. Now I need to set this up. Is there any way to transfer the data from my old Charge 3 from the Fitbit app on my smartphone to the new Charge 3?

Hi there @Docboc, thanks for stopping by.
As my friend @JohnnyRow said, keep in mind that if you are going to use the same Fitbit email address you used to use with your first Charge 3, all your previous data will be stored on your Fitbit account (since the day you linked your Charge 3 until now). Once the new Charge 3 is paired to the account, your dashboard will start syncing and showing all the information tracked from your Charge 3.
If you've not done so, I'd suggest to try the following:
1. Remove the old Charge 3 from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
4. Setup your Charge 3 as a replacement.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

Once you do a sync, all the data goes to the fitbit database in the cloud under your account/email. The only way you might lose any data would be any data that was not synced yet from previous tracker.
Make sure you are logged into the same account/email and set up new tracker just like you did the other. It will note you already have one, and ask if this is a replacement - yes. Then all your data should be there without regard to which tracker it came from.
