Hey there!
I'm having some troubles with the setup of my charge 4. I can't do it with my phone because my android version is too old and i can't update it anymore. Then I tried the set up my device with the fitbit connect 'app' on my mac but in the options of connect there is no charge 4 available.
I also tried to connect it with my moms laptop (windows 10) but after i put in the code it always gives an X on the screen.
Has anyone any advice?
Thx 😄

To set up Fitbit Aria Air, Fitbit Charge 4, or Fitbit Versa 2, you must use a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. You can’t set up these devices on a Windows 10 device.

I have the same problem.
I have purchased Fitbit Charge 4, then I realized that it is incompatible with my Android.
So I installed Fitbit Connect on my Mac, but Charge 4 is not in the list of devices 😩

Welcome to the Community, @Oleks and @Malboi. @lifeonmars, thanks for the input and attachment.
I am sorry for the delay in response and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this setup issue. I would like to know if you keep having problems pairing your device? If so, please take a look at the article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Same problem here. It's terrible that we can't use a computer app with Charge 4 (I use a mac; downloaded the app, and then there is NO Charge 4 listed as devices I can select to connect to).
If I'd known that I couldn't connect it to my computer I never would have bought it.

Agreed, it's ridiculous that they can just stop servicing products that THEY sold

Hello @alrightWhatAbou and welcome to the Community. I understand you are frustrated, but Fitbit made a decision that the newest products can only be set up on a compatible smartphone/tablet before you joined Fitbit. They didn't stop servicing the Charge 4. Fitbit lists the compatibility on every box.
