I’m having to use the mobile tracker until my replacement bands for my Charge 3 are delivered. 1. When using the mobile tracker, do the steps/distance not show automatically on the dashboard as when wearing the device? In other words, steps/distance are only added when you manually sync?
2. When walking on a treadmill (or anywhere for that matter) - the phone just has to be held or on your person to track?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @cvaughn1629.
Thank you for the information provided.
1. When you open the Fitbit app, your phone's data automatically syncs with the app.
2. It doesn't make any different where you wear your phone. Phone manufacturers haven't suggested that the location of the phone affects step count.
