I've tried multiple times for over 25 minutes. Is this unusual?

@SeanF As @WavyDavey mentioned, we need some more information to help you with this. What kind of device are you trying to sync to as well?
Not sure if you have it or not, be here is a link to the Charge 2 User Guide that may also help you with set up and learning about the device.

@SeanF, there are really 2 parts to setting up your new Charge 2 tracker - the first thing it does is pair the tracker with your app and add it to your Fitbit account; and the second thing it does is that as soon as the setup & pairing is completed, it will advise you the tracker firmware needs updating and will begin that download. The setup & pairing you your phone is usually fairly fast, on the order of about 5 to 7 minutes. The updating of the tracker firmware can take some time, and sometimes hangs and has to be started over.

It should only take about 5-10 minutes, 15 at the most.

I just received a replacement Charge 2 today (the display went out on mine after about ten months). I am trying to set the new one up and the app continues to show the message "Connecting to Fitbit...". This is the second time I've tried and waited over 30 minutes each time, with no luck. The Fitbit itself shows the setup website on it, but the app and the tracker are not syncing to each other. I've searched the Fitbit setup site, but don't really see anything helpful in this situation. Any ideas?

@MsKaren67 Did u manage to pair up your tracker to your phone? I'm having the exact same issue after receiving my replacement few days ago. I've tried countless times over the last few days to no avail

Same problem I have tried 15 times to connect a new device. Just keeps trying to connect

Did anyone figure this out?? Iv been trying for the past 30min and it’s just on “connecting to device part” but it doesn’t complete....
