How much on board memory on the Charge 2?

I found that my Charge 2 and phone will not sync unless I have phone or wifi connection.  I was wondering how much data it would store without syncing.  If I take another back country hike in the Grand Canyon, it would be several days to a week or more without any connection to the outside world.  I have an external battery pack with enough power to charge both for a week or more.  Has anyone  solved this issue?

From What should I know about traveling with my Fitbit?

 

  • Most trackers store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you have a Fitbit Alta™, your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to 5 days. If you wait longer than 7 days (5 days for Alta) before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data.
  • Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well. 

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
