I don't wear my Charge 2 to track my sleep because the face lights up every time I move my wrist.  Can this be disabled for a range of time?

Hello @dmgarcia1522, welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure to help you today.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. You can disable the QuickView feature to track your sleep with your Fitbit. To do so:

  1. Fitbit app. Tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture. Tap your device image. Find the option to turn off Quick View.
  2. fitbit.com dashboard. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon > your device image. Find the option to turn off Quick View.

Take in consideration that your Charge 2 track detailed sleep information with our Sleep Stages feature. Learn more about this specific feature here.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you so much, that seems to have worked.  Can't wait to try it tonight to monitor my sleep.

Thank you again!

Ricardo, are they working on a way to do this on the device itself, or to set up a specific time where it turns on and off for sleeping?  I have to manually do this each evening and morning and it just seems like there should be an easier way to accomplish this.

Thank you.

Hello @Greyhoundfun, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums! My apologies for the delay in responding your post.

I'd like to share with you that there was an idea on the feature suggestion board about the option you're suggesting, suggestion that was released. Please check the information that was shared on that specific idea:

Hi everyone, and thanks for sharing this suggestion. We’re very happy to let you know that this suggestion will be released on the new Versa 2, and coming soon to all Fitbit smartwatches (Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa family of smartwatches). Sleep Mode will simultaneously disable your screen display and silence notifications for a night free of disturbances. Sleep Mode can also be used anytime you don’t want to be interrupted, like during a workout or in a meeting. You can set up Sleep Mode in your settings, including scheduling it to turn on regularly at certain times (eg. 11pm to 7am daily).

As it turns out, this option will not be available in the Charge 2 device if you're using it, however, if you're interested in this specific feature you can look our Fitbit Ionic, Versa and Versa 2.

I'll be around if you need anything else.
